I've changed the following link to the new forum and here is the code to help us get higher on the rankings;
<!-- data banner code begin --> <a href="http://starwars.gotop100.com/in.php?ref=256" target="_blank"> <img src="http://starwars.gotop100.com/lists/starwars/custombanners/45531.gif" border="0"> </a> <!-- data banner code end -->
I'm also going to get an affiliate table for us to use and input all of the codes to send to Jon over PM. I can input whatever i then add to the existing list and an admin just needs to overwrite the existing one for the changes to take effect.

If this all works well, there should be some google ads showing for the rpg I decided to set it up today, not an amazing amount of cash going into the account but maybe enough to get a few new members more quickly. There's quite a few keywords too, most about star wars so if they are searched, the ad might appear and therefore, they might click on it. BTW: At the moment its only showing for those in the United Kingdom so that i can see its results and make sure its working ok, if it is, i'll either change the region to Canada or the US or make another ad with the same stuff but for a different region. Ok, it works for those searching from the UK, an advert appeared for me even. What I'll do is see what i get the most clicks from and views which is likely to bring in the most members, cut down the keywords to those and i won't be wasting cash on ads which wont get us members and that money will automatically go to the searches which will.

Thanks. I've deleted a few keywords which are useless and probably take off some of those we got clicks from since the keywords aren't going to get us a lot of members like "star wars clones" for example isnt going to get us more members than "star wars rpg", so the money is divided up across the other keywords and therefore, we target more people BTW, i may copy the ad and see if there's any useful sites with google ads, if this feature is what i think it is, we can select ads to be viewed on certain sites, hopefully say, proboards for example.

Alright, i found a good list of star wars sites from google and have deleted the old campaign and begun with this. I'll see how it reacts overnight and there's some damn good rpg's and resource sites been targeted including swfanon.wikia.com I'll observe which gets us the most clicks with impressions, then i can keep changing the sites around by pausing some and adding others until i get the best selection i can and go for it with the max ads on all i can afford to show.

VERY GOOD NEWS!
I couldn't get those site targeted ads to work before but now they've begun to run and in one night, almost 2,000 impressions was made costing less than the keywords which brought in 703! I'll keep both running but if we start getting impressions like those at other SW RPGs, we might get a few new members ;D
